	Mr. Takagi is a General Partner of Ignite Japan. Prior to joining Ignite Japan, Mr.Takagi held numbers of key positions in the important projects at NTT including Executive Manager at NTT Multimedia Promotion Headquarters where he was responsible for development and deployment of interactive TV services jointly with SGI and Wink Communications, and high-speed Internet Access services (working closely with Inktomi and Packeteer). Prior to that, Mr. Takagi has held various management positions at NTT R&D Headquarters and Vice Chair of SPIRIT Consortium headquartered in U.K. where he was responsible for developing NTT’s computer procurement specs. (MIA) and managing International Consortium (SPIRITS) for developing common procurement specs for world-wide common carriers. He was also responsible for developing NTT’s medium-long term IT development strategies, and developing LAN/VAN and mainframe OSs and TP monitors. Mr.Takagi received a MS degree from University of Tokyo in 1971, and was a visiting scientist at MIT Computer Science Lab. during 1977-1978. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of FiBest Inc. and Gemini Mobile Technologies, Inc.
